YQ must be one of the hardest and most focused rapper that I have encountered, which is why I label YQ as The Hottest Rapper in The Bay Area. I have played lots of songs with this talented rapper before and really love his style and delivery. YQ sounds clear, He makes you think and he keeps the ladies ghetto booty bouncing just the way I like it!!!!! I decided to do a whole episode just dedicated to YQ. YQ Bio YQ is The Hottest Most Talented Rapper in The Bay Area

Lequan Woods (aka “YQ”) was born and raised in the Bay Area, California. YQ knew at an early age that he had an exceptional ability to communicate and, had a lot he wanted to say. Encouraged by his family and influenced by the likes of The Notorious B.I.G and Fabolous, he began to put the pen to the paper at the age of 13. Over the years, he continued to write and began to work towards taking his music to the next step and becoming a professional artist. Within the first two years of his beginning, he had completed numerous, albums, mix tapes and was also part of many rap groups from where he recorded most of his albums. As he began to grow and improve as the most talented rapper, he began performing at events throughout the Bay Area. (talent shows, clubs, functions, contests)

Now with experience under his belt, he continues to find ways to perfect his craft and better himself for what the future holds. His style and diversity has allowed him to do different things, articulate in different talented ways and work with a lot of rappers, producers and dj’s in the Bay Area and all around the world. YQ does more than just string words together that rhyme. He has created a lyrical prowess that showcases an extraordinary ability to speak on an array of subjects and do music that everyone can love. (Hip-Hop, R&B, Pop, Alternative, etc…) Trust and believe that YQ has arrived as the hottest and most talented Bay Area Rapper. He won’t settle for anything else than to be the best that he can be; “As long as I keeps making good music and staying real, then I will be just that. THE BEST!!!”
