This is it!!! The Story of The Notorious B.I.G aka Christopher Wallace is finally complete and slated to hit theaters Jan 16, 2009. For those of you youngings and others who have been living under a rock. The Notorious B.I.G is one of the Greatest if not The Greatest rapper of all time along side with Tupac, Jay-Z, and Lil Wayne. I have been waiting for this movie since his death. May his soul rest in peace. Here is a good link to read more about who Biggie Smalls really was and the raise and fall of his amazing soul. Biggie Smalls has def put Hip Hop on the map as tons and tons of other rappers try to flow like him. Biggies story telling techniques has not yet been heard by any other rapper out there. The Notorious B.I.G was definitely one of a kind!! His music, story, soul and Legacy still remains live in all of our Hip Hop lovers Heart.

The Movie is called Notorious and it is slated to hit the big Screen Jan 16, 2009. The Movie Notorious was directed by George Tillman Jr. who also directed the movies Barber Shop, Soul Food, Beauty Shop and many more. The Movie Notorious was written by Reggie Rock Bythewood and Cheo Hodari Coker. What I love the most is that the cast will consist of average actors and not A Class celebrities. Lequan Woods (aka “YQ”) was born and raised in the Bay Area, California. YQ knew at an early age that he had an exceptional ability to communicate and, had a lot he wanted to say. Encouraged by his family and influenced by the likes of The Notorious B.I.G and Fabolous, he began to put the pen to the paper at the age of 13. Over the years, he continued to write and began to work towards taking his music to the next step and becoming a professional artist. Within the first two years of his beginning, he had completed numerous, albums, mix tapes and was also part of many rap groups from where he recorded most of his albums. As he began to grow and improve as the most talented rapper, he began performing at events throughout the Bay Area. (talent shows, clubs, functions, contests)

Now with experience under his belt, he continues to find ways to perfect his craft and better himself for what the future holds. His style and diversity has allowed him to do different things, articulate in different talented ways and work with a lot of rappers, producers and dj’s in the Bay Area and all around the world. YQ does more than just string words together that rhyme. He has created a lyrical prowess that showcases an extraordinary ability to speak on an array of subjects and do music that everyone can love.
